Technical description
The HA.X2 hard armor plate is a Stand Alone ballistic plate developed by EGIDE Technologies to provide a high level of protection against a wide range of large-caliber threats.
Its design combines a technical alumina ceramic (Al₂O₃) with a high-performance multi-layer composite backing, optimizing energy absorption and dissipation during a ballistic impact. This architecture ensures an excellent balance between ballistic performance, controlled weight and durability.
Developed in the SAPI Single Curve format, the HA.X2 fits perfectly into most compatible tactical plate carriers. Its ergonomic geometry naturally follows the torso to improve wearing comfort and mobility, even during extended use.
Although designed to provide the stated level of protection on its own, the HA.X2 can be paired with an EGIDE Technologies HG2/IIIA soft ballistic insert. This multi-layer configuration is recommended to provide complementary protection, particularly in terms of reducing blunt trauma and controlling backface deformation (BFD), while improving wearing comfort.

Shipping and after-sales service
Our standard references are produced in limited stock: the shipping time is communicated at the time of order according to availability.
For custom configurations (non-standard size, specific integration), a manufacturing lead time will be communicated when your request is reviewed.
Delivery to mainland France, French overseas territories and the European Union. For any delivery outside the EU, please contact our sales department.
In accordance with regulations, you have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal, provided the product is returned in its original, sealed and unopened nylon packaging.
Once the nylon packaging has been opened, the product can no longer be resold to another customer: the integrity of the ballistic material cannot be guaranteed after opening. In this case, we take the product back for reconditioning or internal reuse, but no refund or exchange can be offered, except in the event of a proven manufacturing defect.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except in the event of a defect or an error on our part.
All our VIGILIS® inserts come with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing and material defects, starting from their date of manufacture.
This warranty covers the repair or replacement of the product when a defect related to manufacturing or materials is identified.
The recommended service life of our ballistic inserts is 5 years, subject to compliance with the conditions of use, storage and care recommended by EGIDE.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage resulting from unsuitable storage or care, product modifications, mechanical damage or any use that does not comply with EGIDE's recommendations.
The stated ballistic performance corresponds to the levels and conditions defined by the applicable test protocols. As real-world conditions of use may differ from these standardized conditions, no ballistic protection can guarantee a total absence of injury or damage in all circumstances.
Any insert that has sustained a ballistic impact must be immediately removed from service and must no longer be used.
